After I dug myself out of the rubble of my failed 17 year marriage, I moved back to my hometown & began my healing process. I decided to follow my dream. I went back to school, and began executing a plan to own my own business. I sought out people I didn’t know, but knew of, because of their great success. I followed their guidelines, wrote a business plan, and jumped in with both feet.
How do you stay fabulous?I have always believed that as long as I’m growing and expanding my mind, I’m ahead of the game. Everyday, I do my best to follow a few simple guidelines. I write in my gratitude journal to remind myself of how fortunate I am. I enjoy a light morning workout, just to keep the oxygen & blood flowing. I enjoy special time that I set aside, just for my two dogs, Maxi & RooBee, and one of my favorite things to do is to prepare home cooked meals with my college sweetheart, and now husband, Paul.
What would you do with the $40,000?For many years, my daughter and I were very busy with work, school, and competitive athletics. We deferred fun vacations and mother/daughter travel due to these commitments. This year, my daughter turns 24, and graduates from college. I feel that now is the perfect time for she and I to go make memories, together. I would love to travel to the many places we have dreamed about visiting, and spend as much quality time together, as possible. Winning the $40,000 would make this 100% possible.
