What I love about being in my 40s is the profound sense of humility, resilience, humor and wisdom that has been shaped by my journey. Through overcoming trauma and challenges, I’ve not only emerged stronger but also with a deeper purpose to uplift and support others. I take pride in the confidence I’ve gained—fully embracing both my inner and outer beauty—and I celebrate the light within me that grows brighter with each passing year. For me, life is about embodying grace, living authentically.
How do you stay fabulous?I focus on nurturing my spirit, staying true to my values, and living with intention. I prioritize my faith by finding moments of gratitude, prayer, and reflection, which ground me through life’s challenges. By embracing grace and purpose, I remain aligned with my passion for helping others and advocating for mental health, survivors of domestic violence, and diversity equity and inclusion.
What would you do with the $40,000?As a single mom, survivor, and advocate, winning $40,000 would be life-changing. I’d provide generational wealth for my children by securing a farm land and rental property. I also dream of starting a nonprofit to support domestic violence survivors with aftercare resources to help rebuild their lives. Additionally, I’m passionate about photojournalism and want to share stories of resilience and hope. This opportunity would not only transform my life but enable me to inspire and uplift others.
