The confidence and wisdom I’ve gained inspire me to empower others and lift them as I rise. As the founder of Women in Medicine, I’ve empowered thousands of women and allies to drive meaningful change in healthcare. During the pandemic, I spent countless hours informing and educating the public, fighting misinformation, and working on the front lines in the hospital. I’m passionate about advocating for patients and leading with purpose to create lasting, positive change.
How do you stay fabulous?By embracing growth and balance in all areas of life, always putting family first. Their love and support keep me grounded. I involve my children in many of the initiatives I work on, showing them the importance of making a difference. Prioritizing self-care, taking vacations, and surrounding myself with supportive people keep me energized. Staying fabulous means leading with purpose, staying true to myself and my values, empowering others, and making a positive impact wherever I can.
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000, I would invest in initiatives that create real, lasting change in healthcare. I would also provide funding to the Women in Medicine® nonprofit, offering more resources and opportunities for women, especially women of color, to rise into leadership and drive equity in healthcare. This investment would empower future leaders, elevate underrepresented voices, and help build a more inclusive healthcare system. I’m committed to fostering change that benefits generations to come.
