I have learned that living your best life at any age requires focusing on what you have, not on what you don’t. You have to learn to let go of situations you have no control over and spend time doing what you love and being with those you love. Being a Grandparent has been incredible! I am no longer afraid to try new things. Go ahead and sing loud, dance and celebrate each day you are blessed to be alive!
How do you stay fabulous?I praise and pray daily. I laugh, sing and spend time trying to help others. I try to eat healthy, exercise and contribute to my community. I am a caretaker, continue education through ongoing learning, host holidays for family. I am a Sponsor for Brickie Leaders and Girls on the Run. I work as a Counselor. I spend time with grandkids, family and friends. My spouse has a progressive disease that prevents travel. We still have an incredible life with family game nights, hobbies and giving back.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would pay off bills and help my children. I would donate a portion to help my school, church and Lori’s Smile. Lori’s Smile is a not for profit organization that provides mammograms and medical care to women who can’t afford it.
