Being over 40 has allowed me to truly come into my own. I’m more confident than ever, embracing my independence and inner beauty. I’m deeply in touch with my values, cherishing my family-my husband, two daughters and son-my friends and my relationship with God. I’ve built a wonderful circle of friends, both lifelong and new. I value wellness and strive to live life to the fullest by traveling and leading community groups. Surrounded by those who share my values, I am truly fulfilled.
How do you stay fabulous?Since turning 40, I’ve embraced a consistent fitness routine. I enjoy Shaun T’s videos like T-25, his workouts energize me. I’m also a fan of Peloton, with Ally Love and Cody as my favorite instructors. Working out nearly everyday keeps my mind sharp and body strong for life’s adventures. I’m mindful of fueling my body with lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables, but I also occasionally indulge in pasta or pizza!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would invest the $40,000 prize into expanding my homemade ‘Aunt Shelley’s Famous Chicken Wing Dip’ business. It started as a family favorite -my kids, nieces and nephews always clear the plate at gatherings. Encouraged by their enthusiasm, I pitched it to a local grocery store, and they wanted to sell it. However, challenges have arisen. The prize money would allow me to invest in a specialized kitchen and hire staff to increase production, so I can share this delicious dish with the world
