Youth for me was anxious at the uncertainty of life. By now I’ve tried on a dozen careers in the arts, business and entrepreneurship, then found deep satisfaction as an engineering and robotics teacher. I’m not afraid to make decisions because I am clear on my life’s goals, and my purpose here — I want to understand and help people wherever and however I can.
How do you stay fabulous?Life is a body and soul journey, both must be nourished and cared for as I pursue my goals and try to appreciate if not enjoy each moment. I indulge my curiosity, I open my eyes and ears to my surroundings, I love nature. I thrive when I can read books, explore ideas, play with art and humor, and discover new perspectives and places. My favorite days are those in which I can help others uncover their own best gifts — talents they can then develop into their own life’s mission.
What would you do with the $40,000?After a two decade teaching career in STEAM studies, in my next act I will turn again to entrepreneurship, so I can travel the world and create deeply meaningful moments with people everywhere. I would invest the $40,000 in a small business that would use all I’ve learned and discovered in my life journey to help the people I meet to find satisfying careers and to develop as artists, engineers, small business owners, and seekers, like me.
