What I love about being over 40 is the sense of confidence and authenticity that comes with truly knowing who I am. I’ve learned to embrace life's adventures, including traveling and exploring new cultures, with a youthful spirit that keeps me energized. I no longer feel the need to please others—being unapologetically myself is freeing. There's a unique blend of wisdom and curiosity that makes this stage of life feel empowering, fun, and full of possibility!
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by embracing a balanced life filled with self-care, adventure, and creativity. I prioritize mental and physical wellness, from staying active and practicing mindfulness to nurturing relationships that inspire growth. Traveling keeps me curious and connected to the world, while indulging in things I love—like dancing, writing, and spending quality time with family—fuels my youthful spirit. Most importantly, I stay true to myself.
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000, I would invest in expanding my work in supporting underserved communities, particularly through birth doula services and mental health programs. I'd create accessible workshops and resources for women and families to ensure they receive holistic care and support. I'd also set aside funds for personal growth, continuing my travels to explore diverse cultures and experiences, enriching my perspective to better serve others. A portion would go towards family adventures for memories.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
