I think one of the beautiful aspects of being over 40, is finally maturing within oneself to understand people’s negative opinions don’t matter. Here are my realizations; We are at an age where we have seen and experienced so many things that we are able to see the reality through all of the noise. Live your life and find what brings you joy. Focus on what actually matters. At the end of the day, only you are responsible for creating an environment that you thrive in.
How do you stay fabulous?I owe my positive upbeat life perspective to my parents. I wasn’t raised to sit and focus on the problem, the focus was on the solution. Of course it’s healthy to grieve in the moment of whatever you are going through, but don’t live there. Find ways to focus on what brings you peace.
What would you do with the $40,000?I have recently signed up to volunteer with some local events, I would love to find some causes to be able to impact in a real way. Also I would love to plan a trip for myself and my mom to Disney World. She has always been unwavering in her support of me, and has taken care of me through all of the cancer treatments and surgeries. She absolutely deserves to be treated to a fun getaway at her favorite place on earth! I am really blessed to have her as my mom, she is my role model in so many ways
