I feel like I have found my true, authentic self in my forties. I finally accomplished my dream of becoming a nurse! I strive to be the best version of myself every day. I've learned that life is short and tomorrow is NOT promised so I live each day to the fullest! I love that I do not have to answer to anyone but myself and that I can put my happiness first!
How do you stay fabulous?I stay close to my family, friends, and loved ones! I've learned that I am perfect being my imperfect self and that I am beautiful just the way I am!! I enjoy attending concerts and sporting events monthly. I also love to give back by working at the hospital and helping others in their greatest time of need.
What would you do with the $40,000?My nursing school journey would not have been possible without the love, support and kindness of many people. One was a fellow healthcare provider, unknown to me, who heard my story and helped me financially. If i won $40,000, I would set up a scholarship for a woman in her forties who wants to further her education to better herself and reach her full potential. I would also pay off some bills and further my education.
