Finally, being comfortable with who I am and in my OWN skin. Being more present in my life, I feel I took a lot for granted when I was younger... I think we are so much more aware and present as we age. I think we value differently our health, our surroundings, our company, ourselves. I have been working in long term care for almost 23 years and I can say as a witness to aging, my patients have taught me so much about aging and gratitude.
How do you stay fabulous?I religiously move my body daily. Whether it be a walk or a session lifting weights. I strongly believe as a human and a CPT (certified personal trainer) who also specializes in Senior fitness that we must move our bodies daily. As a mother of 3 girls, I also think it's very important to teach self-love and mental health through practice. Your always being watched and weather it's your children or a friend or even a stranger we lead by example. We never know who is watching.
What would you do with the $40,000?Awwwwwww.... what wouldn't I do!?!?!?! I definitely would be able to provide so much more for my grandfather whom I just moved to be near me in Wisconsin from Montana. I'd be able to provide him with a means to get out of the nursing home to see things in w/c transport situation. I would be able to help my mom come visit here to see her dad. I recently this last year broke my back, and it set my family back financially greatly. It would provide a lot of relief to my family in many ways.
