I love how at this age, I truly feel confident and connected to my authentic self. After surviving breast cancer twice, I realized how fragile life truly is. I got through the scariest thing one could imagine and grew a deeper appreciation for the beauty in the everyday world around me. I now let go of past insecurities and fear of failure. I realized, that once I got out of my own way and started saying YES to ideas and opportunities....things started happening. I truly started living.
How do you stay fabulous?I make a point to doing at least one of the many things I love each day. From songwriting and playing my guitar, to spending time tending to beautiful Victorian flower garden. I think it's really important for everyone to make time and space in our lives to do things that truly fulfill us.
What would you do with the $40,000?Honestly, I would love the support and opportunity to be able to reach more women going to through a breast cancer diagnosis and be an inspiring light of encouragement. I have publicly shared my personal journey through my YouTube channel, The Vintage Bombshell, in hopes that my message of finding happiness and beauty in the everyday WILL return to you again after diagnosis. If I were selected as winner, knowing that I could help even one woman have hope would be the greatest gift of all.
