I am trying to live each day with purpose and gratitude. I no longer waste time. I am embarking on my dream of writing with no fear!

I love that my focus is on taking action to feel strong. When you’re younger you’re so much more concerned about fitting in and you spend way too much time obsessing over looking good instead of feeling strong. The older I get the more I realize feeling strong makes you look good! And mood follows action, not the other way around. I used to wait to be in the right mood to get things done. Now I take action even, if I’m feeling a bit down, and the good mood and good vibes follow.
How do you stay fabulous?I workout 5-6 days a week with weights, Pilates and walking with a weighted vest. The varying exercises keep me motivated. I hydrate! So important! Although I give in to my sweet tooth occasionally, I eat whole foods and an over abundance of greens. I also read-from books. Not on screens. I think it’s so important to limit screen time and get out in nature. I crave trees, living water and sunlight. Spending time with my friends and my animals keep me in a gratitude space which is key!
What would you do with the $40,000?I would put it in my dream fund for buying land. I want to buy land and build some solar powered barns for an animal rescue and learning retreat. I imagine a safe place where neglected animals could be loved and feel like they have a family. It would also serve as a place of learning. I imagine hosting events where the younger generations could learn about respect and compassion for animals.
