I am a very active 70 year old person who rescues large and small animals. When they come to me they have found their loving forever home.

I used to think that hitting the big 4-0 was the golden ticket to legitimacy. It was like I suddenly upgraded to the Wisdom Level 40 mode, where everything I said had a sparkle of extra significance. You know, like when you unlock a secret level in a video game and all the characters treat you differently? Well, that's how it felt — like suddenly I had become the guru of life experiences and practical know-how. It was like the universe had handed me a VIP pass to the "I Know Stuff" club.
How do you stay fabulous?I eat well, stay active, have a 20 minute rejuvenating bath before bed, read, write and paint to keep my brain happy, laugh lots, grow my own garden and love the heck out of all the animal rescues in my care.
What would you do with the $40,000?I’d probably put it back into the rescues care and donate to a couple of very deserving charities.
