I have been there done that and nothing killed me! My confidence has finally settled in and I am loving myself more deeply and truly than I thought I could. I am comfortable in my skin and it shows. I feel like I was never ignored by the world but that I never got the attention that I was seeking in personal relationships or at work. Being over 40, the world feels different and I am here for it ALL THE WAY!!!
How do you stay fabulous?By being natural and intuitive. When I eat I have been craving different foods in my 40s. Pescatarian and Vegan options have mostly replaced my standard red meat and heavy carbs diet. My workouts used to be hard and heavy. Now I prefer yoga, calisthenics, and swimming; pushing myself in softer ways. I would like to learn Tai Chi as well. I'm even trying to go natural in my hair care. I have lost 60 lbs, stopped taking all of my medications, and have never felt so fulfilled in life. Wow!!!
What would you do with the $40,000?A little for my mind means a vacation would be in order. I would visit my mother and sister in Austin, hit a festival to see my friends from upstate NY, and then off to somewhere outside of the US because I have never been. Something for my body would mean some glow up for my wardrobe and hair or course. But for my soul I would work on music and dance. I've always had talent in these places but I never took lessons and would love to see what I can do with myself!
