I love the unexpected journey. The realization that when life throws you to what some would say is a negative way, you learn to see it as a gift that brings you forward. We can choose to embrace the journey or we can choose to resist it. Vulnerability is key. You must first break to rebuild the bold self that is within, for the shattering allows more light to fill the empty spaces.
How do you stay fabulous?I reflect daily. I reflect on the positives and the challenging. What was my lesson of the day and how can I bring that forward? What lives did I touch today? How did I serve my purpose? Staying fabulous sits within our own humility. Checking in with ourselves physically, mentally, and spiritually is the key to being comfortable in vulnerability.
What would you do with the $40,000?I want to bring a program into schools to help young kids learn how to accept themselves, how to navigate the ups and downs of the day, and how to overcome anxiety by learning little skills that help them feel safe in the bigger picture of the world. I once told my daughter that you need to learn how to be strong and independent in order to share that with others and not need others to fulfill it for you. Spread positivity and kindness for the gift in return is worth more than gold.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
