Learning to love myself! Aging is a privilege and I'm trying to embrace all that comes with it!

I love the perspective I have being over 40. Time is not guaranteed and it's a privilege to age. I love that I am becoming more comfortable & confident about who I am & all that I am capable of. My younger self was so self conscious in so many ways. Now, at age 46, I don't feel the need to apologize for who I am. I love that even at my age, I still have so much to experience & learn. I'm in the 2nd half and I want it to be with no regrets & fabulous!
How do you stay fabulous?It's important to take time for myself! I have lost 100 pounds and it was something I never believed I could do. I enjoy walking, my peloton and running. But I still enjoy chocolate, bread & cookies! I feel fabulous being able to wear new clothing and explore my new style, in my new body. I surround myself with people I love. I'm open to trying new things! And learning to not let my insecurities hinder me from those new experiences. Feeling and staying fabulous is about believing in myself.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would take some of it and go on an amazing adventure! In September my younger sister Robin passed away (at 42) from Metastatic Breast cancer. She told me to travel and see the world and have the experiences she would not able to have. I'm thinking Italy! A bike tour, some cooking classes & lots of yummy food! The other half I would save and put towards a down payment on a home.
