I love helping other people and am currently working toward starting my own business to teach trauma informed yoga at schools in my area.

I love the fact that forty actually feels young, and that there is still so much to learn and achieve. I left teaching a few years ago and gave myself time to invest in my passion, which is trauma-informed education. I’m working toward my certificates in the hope that I can start my own business and teach yoga in schools. I have a passion for helping kids navigate the world in a constructive and healthy way. I see a lot of hope for our future in them.
How do you stay fabulous?I prioritize self-care, which means long baths with a good book, washing my face and moisturizing twice a day, drinking lots of water, and making sure I move every day. I also love basking in the sunshine like my cats. They help me from taking things too seriously.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would invest in my yoga business, as well as my tutoring business. I would like to keep costs down, and that money would help offset the cost of running a website. I would also like to donate to RAINN, as well as volunteer to do some public speaking across the country. The money would absolutely help with travel.
