What do you love about being over 40?

I no longer think that I need to keep up with the Jones. I am confident in my decisions and have learned from my mistakes. I surround myself with people that are kind, respectful and bring me joy. I am retired and have the time to do things that I love to do. Each day is a new day and I try to take advantage of that gift.

How do you stay fabulous?

I play pickleball and it is a workout! But it is also fun and includes a lot of laughs. I can laugh at myself and know that I'm not going to be in the Olympics! We recently added a home gym to our basement which is convenient. While physical fitness is important, mental happiness is where I find so much joy. Keeping things in perspective is critical. I don't let the small stuff bother me. I have a wonderful family and many amazing friends that I am lucky to spend much time with.

What would you do with the $40,000?

Wow, I have so many ideas! I have some friends that are stuggling with health issues (some will be lifelong), and I would love to make their lives alittle easier. I have lost my parents, dear friends and a 19 month old friend's granddaughter to cancer. I do volunteer work for different cancer societies, but I would love to make a larger impact. Making the lives of people I care about better, would be a top priority.
