What I love the most are my priorities and the things that are now important to me. When I turned 40 I was very much a different woman. I was a struggling unprepared new mom which as an always prepared physician was humbling. I had an Ahhha moment and reached into myself to develop the confidence to live my life authentically and embrace my talents as an artist, amateur chef, mentor and woman of wisdom with inner beauty. More recently I stretched myself and enrolled in Chef School (see pics).

I am going to say that firstly I am a big fan of Pilates and worked with various trainers at least 2 x weekly for the past 30 years. I embrace my role as a wise woman warrior, lift up and support the women who walk in my steps. Leading by example are key for many reasons including that the positive energy reflects onto and fuels you at the same time. I had an aha moment and decided to "ditch the dye". Starting @the_silver_dermatologist insta has allowed me grace to embrace my authentic self.

That is an easy question. Young people in the arts; music, film etc really struggle to get on their feet and get funding for their work. I watch my son who is a talented emerging film director but also was before a struggling kid with ADHD and a co morbid learning disability. He is at the stage whereby he's applying for and starting to receive Art's Council Grants that are seed money for various submissions. He is my talented greatest love. I will use the money to contribute to his work.
