I love the self-awareness, wisdom, inner strength, and liberation that come with being over 40. It almost feels like I woke up on my fortieth birthday being more mature, and it was uncanny how much wiser and more at peace with life I felt. Since then, I've been experiencing a kind of serenity that I didn't anticipate, but which I thoroughly enjoy.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by exercising, eating healthily (mostly...chocolate has me in a chokehold), practicing mindfulness, talking to my mom everyday and spending time in nature. I also maintain a positive outlook on life, even when challenges persist, and I steer clear of situations that negatively impact my mental well-being.
What would you do with the $40,000?I'd pay to have my daughter's self-harm scars removed, and fly to Jamaica and take my family on a vacation, then build my mom the tiny home of her dream, and buy her a bicycle.
