This stage in my life offers perspective and vitality. I'm so far past feeling old at 25, or rushed to become a mother with an invisible clock trying to dictate. I feel beautiful for my own reasons and have no guilt if I feel passion. My rough edges have worn off with wisdom. I accept imperfections and appreciate people more. Even grief has taught me to live with purpose. I am able to give so much more to others and can handle challenges like a lady. I am grateful for this age and each day.
How do you stay fabulous?My number one fab trick is that I gave up drinking over eight years ago. It was never a problem for me. I want to live a long life without anything toxic aging me. I say this without judgment. It's just a choice I made. Also, skin care. I put cream on my face every day, every night since I was twelve years old. I treat myself to a facial, walk, lift weights at home, ride my Harley. I try not to wrinkle, my forehead as a form of expression since age 19. I remain present with a positive outlook.
What would you do with the $40,000?As a single mother. I've never had the opportunity to own my own home. I would like to do something nice for my two boys and then save the rest to help me buy my first house so that in retirement, I have a small, beautiful home of my own. I dream of it being in the mountains or near the beach. Wherever I can stretch those pennies, in a reasonable manner. As the years go on, I would spend more time at my little get away home until I was totally retired and lived there full time.
