What I love most about being over 40 - freedom and time to do the things I couldn't when I was younger. I feel more relaxed and not let the small things bother me. Time to spend with my family and watch my grandson as he enters the Canadian Armed Forces. The ability to focus on my native art and jewelry business. I enjoy volunteering for rail safety through “Operation Lifesaver”, charities and helping others. I accept life as an adventure, everyday is a chance to learn something new!
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by laughing and enjoying the small things that make me happy. Spending time with my family, walks in the fall, and above all sleep! I’ve tried many different activities including roller derby, mud run with my friend, and parades with my Bernese Mountain Dogs. I enjoy making people laugh and feel good about themselves. I try to eat well and drink lots of water, though I enjoy the occasional snack. In the end, if my family thinks I’m fabulous, I’m happy.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I was to win the $40,000 I would take a long vacation to a tropical paradise. I would help my daughter with her education to become a funeral home coordinator. I would have our home repainted; it’s been awhile since it was last done.
