Being over 40 has changed my perspective in life. I cherish every moment I spend with my children, recognizing that tomorrow is not promised. I discard what no longer brings meaning to my life. One advantage of reaching this age is the many life experiences I've gained. I've learned to live a healthier lifestyle and prioritize my mental and well-being. Am more confident and appreciate my own company. I care less what people think or say and I live every day without any expectations or regrets.
How do you stay fabulous?I have a youthful spirit and mindset that transcends age stereotypes. I do not permit others to dictate what I am able to do or wear based on my age (54). I wear whatever makes me happy and makes me feel young. I stay fit by exercising regularly and eating a healthy diet. I also don't drink alcohol, don't smoke and I don't drink sodas. I do moisturize and take vitamins. I like to take long walks and do outdoor activities with the family when possible. My weakness is peanut M&Ms.
What would you do with the $40,000?I am a single mom of 3, so after taking care of their needs, my first priority would be to prioritize self-care. Plan a much needed vacation to recharge and rejuvenate. Take a break from the daily responsibilities of adulting. I would also allocate some funds in a savings account for any unforeseen circumstances. And just ensure a brighter future for my family.
