40 feels like the world is at your feet! I’m grateful to be here at 40. I have immense gratitude for every breath I’m allowed to take. The ppl I’ve had the honor to share space with have made me who I am. I take pride in having family, friends & colleagues from all ages & walks of life. I had a health scare at the age of 38 (covid/pneumonia/lumierres ) attacked my body at once. I was in an induced coma & placed on ECMO which is the last lifeline for survival for most. 40 holds grit & grace.
How do you stay fabulous?I believe in both keeping the body and mind sharp! I love Hot Worx! Not only does it physically challenge you but also provides a place for concentration & meditation. And short workouts are a preference! CRYO fan!Good skincare is also very important. What you put in & on your body matters. That’s something I wish I would have implemented much earlier in life! However, I am a FOODIE! Charcuterie trays are a MUST! I also believe in the power of positivity! Good vibes cultivate fabulous pathways!
What would you do with the $40,000?I’m a believer in passing the baton and opening the door for others. Junior Players (a non profit arts FABULOUS education org that serves 15,000 students annually with FREE innovative fine arts programs) will forever have my heart! $5000 would be donated to JP. I would also donate $500 each to 5 of my favorite non profits which include healthcare for kids with asthma, no kill pet shelters, a theater, a voting org and one scholarship to a young Latina. The rest would pay off my medical bills.
