I am 50+ years old, a survivor of Sickle Cell Anemia, and my purpose is to continue advocating for that community.

I love that I'm a survivor and thriving very well in my advocacy for the Sickle Cell Community. At the tender age, my parents were told I was not going to live pass 10 years of age. However, God had his own plan for my life. I love that I have the opportunity to create a different path with no restrictions. To live my life that best tailored for me and share my knowledge with other within the community. To show up for me. Just because I am a survivor, doesn't mean that all to me. "See Me!"
How do you stay fabulous?I pray daily to my heavenly father and really take care of my "whole self". Meaning that I place my phone on silent, Art, Cooking, Laughing, Qi Gong, talk to God, and staying mindful to really appreciate the days that I feel wonderful. Also, I have changed the way I eat. I juice my fruits and vegetables. Eating Salomon, Halibut, and chicken. I really listen to my body to let me know what it needs. My diet is a huge part of how I feel, look, and stay absolutely healthy and fab over 40.
What would you do with the $40,000?Honestly, first and foremost I would give thanks to my heavenly father God and my mother. I would collaborate with The Black Panther Party to start a Blood Drive Donation Program for people with Sickle Cell and other blood disorders like Ezema, Leukemia, and Lupus. Also, I would travel, become a foodie (enjoy delicious foods), buy myself a live/work loft, and then save the rest or invest. Last but most important; bless up my true supporters that believed in me. Never, ever forget that!
