That I just turned 50 and I'm still here. I have stage 4 cancer. I have 1 of the worst. This year it spread into my brain.
We would like to thank you for supporting Robyn Caputo in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
The fact that I made it to 50.. When I found out I had cancer and that it was in 7 of my organs at the time and I had already had it for 4 years and people only live 5. I was already 46 at the time and separated and going to get divorced. I knew at that moment I was going to live my life to the fullest. Every day I have been told I wasn't gonna live long and each year my cancer has spread to a different organ and the Drs have thought I wasn't gonna make it and I have proved them wrong.
How do you stay fabulous? The best way I know how to stay fabulous is to be positive. I asked a lot how I'm so positive about what I have and my life. The best thing I can say is my faith. I believe that whatever is going to happen is going to happen no matter what. I am somebody who loves to get dressed and my motto is always dress as if you're going somewhere better. I love to be overdressed then underdressed.
What would you do with the $40,000?If I had $40,000 I would go on vacation a much needed vacation.I would go away with my sister and a few close friends to a nice Island somewhere where we could lie on the beach and relax. Get massages and go for dinner at night.Pay a few medical bills then I would put the rest in the bank for a rainy day.
