Being over forty is the new 20 20. I have redefined my purpose because I continue to learn about myself. I enjoy my own company and practice self-care. I cherish my love ones and the small things. For example, waking up, having shelter, being in the right frame of mind, not taking this life for granted.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by learning how to be my best self. That means practicing self-care, going to bed early, watching what I eat, setting boundaries, reading, learning and unlearning; setting myself and others for success.
What would you do with the $40,000?I will donate $10k to my school. I am an Assistant Principal serving high school students with special needs. They are the neediest & underserved population. The monies will go to building a laundromat, where students will learn pre-employment & vocational skills in school. My older girls (24 & 20) are in college, I will give them $5K each for their savings. My younger girls (8 & 3) I will put $5k each in a college trust fund. With 10K I will pay off some debts & take a trip overseas to explore.
