I love that I know things now. In my 20s I was clueless about life. Insecure learning the ropes of being an adult. In my 30s it was all making my mark in my career planting roots.. Now in my 40s I find myself with a confidence of feeling like I got this, while still being young and healthy enough to do things I never had time to do before . The best part is I now find myself telling that 20 year old that was just like me it’s going to be okay. You got this!
How do you stay fabulous?Self care and giving back to the world. I recently became a foster mother to provide a safe place for at risk youth. It’s a lot of work but giving back is the most gratifying feeling in the world! When I’m not taking care of others I take care of me by balancing all the hard work with fun. I’ll take that spa day with my teens. I’ll go on that long weekend road trip and recharge in nature with those I love. I’ll buy myself that outfit with my hard earned money.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would kick start my airbnb business that I want to have as supplemental income after retirement.
