I am 63 years old, a practicing nurse for 40 years taking care of my "whole" self, staying in shape, positivity, and influencing others.

I have learned a lot along life's challenges and we are mature to make the "right" decisions. I learned to make me a priority (took me into my mid 50's to do so). It used to be me helping everyone financially as well as in other ways including my children, now ex-husband, siblings, my mom, and friends. Better late than never! I had to learn to love me for who I am. I am an avid reader, eating even better to manage my auto-immune disorders (environmental exposures), hazards of the job as an RN.
How do you stay fabulous?Eating well, taking care of myself, mentally, physically and emotionally to be my BEST self every day. Having the "right" people in my life (quality not quantity). As well as taking care of my body (internally and externally). Taking pride in how I dress and look. Remaining true to my beliefs and practices, giving back by mentor, coaching, teaching, amidst the many unfortunate harshness of life. Keeping positive utilizing BEST practices to support my BIO-Psycho-Social-Physical-Spiritual being.
What would you do with the $40,000?Probably use some to pay off my loans, take a much needed vacation, and invest in my retirement goals. I have been responsible for my mom financially, with end-stage Alzheimer's and dementia) for many years. They live in Vancouver, Canada and my sister is her caregiver. Finally being able to afford the costs of publishing my (DNP) nursing Doctoral thesis (ground-breaking). I graduated Summa Cum Laude 4.0 GPA, Dean's honor roll, December 2016.
