Turning 40, 50, and 60 offered opportunities to celebrate life and reset goals. There’s great freedom in finally saying ‘who cares what people think!’ It builds confidence. I walk taller because I own my age and my garnered wisdom. I love my silver hair, my age, and that I’m not a size 6. I have always celebrated beauty and fashion. This lets me feel beautiful inside and out! In turn, I can support those I love and perform professionally all while growing. I am ready for many more decades!
How do you stay fabulous?Sleep is critical along with integrative medicine work. An admitted product junkie, I share advice with the fabulous women in my life. I have recently embarked on a more advanced wellness program and taking care of myself better with food plans and hitting the gym. It took me 60 years to prioritize these things so that I may soar into retirement with gusto, not regrets. Fabulousness is a mindset not a number! It’s shown in the love I give.
What would you do with the $40,000?Working in Oncology my entire career allows me to understand the financial gaps patients face. It would be my hope to offer a percentage of the money to trusted patient support organization/s who offer services to patients that are normally unfunded. This may include patient services such as transportation, supportive care, and well-being programs.
