Owning who I am unapologetically and being true to who I am. My confidence has never been higher.

As I got older I started to realize I matter too. As someone who spent most of my life as a people pleaser trying to be perfect I never spent any time getting to know me. When I finally did I felt unstoppable. I started carving out time for myself without guilt. I learned to love my body and taking care of it. I no longer spent each moment trying to change, instead I focused on my health and loving who I am right now. I allowed myself to have a voice and an opinion and I’ve never felt better.
How do you stay fabulous?I used to look at exercise as punishment, something I did to burn calories or become smaller. But now exercise is my superpower. It is my mental health medicine and something I get to do not something I have to do. As a mother I want to be a role model for my kids. I want to them to care about their health and love the bodies they have. I believe if they watch me love and care for my body hopefully it will rub off on them.
What would you do with the $40,000?My husband and I have been married for 16 years and together for 22. We’ve spent our lives trying to save and be responsible. I’m a teacher and he works with children with special needs and living in New York can kick your pockets butts. We try to do a lot with our children, small road trips as often as possible. My husband and I have not been in a vacation together in 16 years. I’d love for the two of us to go somewhere magical. I’d also like to give both kids a head start savings account.
