Took me 40 years to be ok loving the body I’m in. I’m a cancer survivor a wife and mother and truly blessed.
We would like to thank you for supporting Rachel Crown in this year's competition. Your support helps us contribute to the National Breast Cancer Foundation who provides early detection, education, and support services to those affected by breast cancer.
At 45 it’s a time in my life that I truly focus on my blessings. I recently lost my mother and realized how much we sacrifice as moms. I don’t want to take anything for granted tomorrow isn’t promised. I’m loving being a mother and recently a grandmother. At 45 I’m loving the inner strength I’ve learned to have. 45 is a time in my life that the past is the past and I can’t predict the future so I’m just being present in the day to day.
How do you stay fabulous?I think being fabulous is a mindset. I come from a family of 8 so working hard for what I have has been challenging. I don’t have designer clothes or take lavish trips. I stay fabulous by focusing on family doing what I can for others being a colon cancer survivor in its self is pretty darn fabulous. I’ve been given more time with my family. I’ve been the driven career woman now I’m taking the time to slow down and enjoy my life and the ones I love.
What would you do with the $40,000?Definitely help my kids with things donate some of it. I like helping out the women’s shelters and donating to the Purple door which helps abused mothers and their children. And of course I’d like to spoil myself cause darn it I deserve it. Take a trip with my family would be nice.
