What I love about being over 40 is the empowerment and freedom that comes with this stage of life. I'm in the best shape of my life, both physically and mentally, which fuels my energy and passion. I took a leap and started my own business, a rewarding journey that allows me to bring my dreams to life. As a single mom, I've embraced the challenges, and now that my kid is grown, I cherish the time for myself. Being an empty nester has opened up opportunities for personal growth and exploration.
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous means embracing who I am and nurturing all 4’9” of myself! I prioritize self-care through spa days and reading, which recharge my spirit. Regular exercise, like weightlifting, boosts my mood and confidence, while a balanced diet filled with fruits, vegetables, and proteins keeps me energized. I maintain a positive mindset by practicing gratitude and surrounding myself with positive people. Continuous learning excite me so I love to read and watch documentaries.
What would you do with the $40,000?Winning $40,000 would allow me to positively impact the bodybuilding community that has shaped my life. I would develop community programs offering free access to gyms and workshops on nutrition and fitness. A mentorship program connecting seasoned bodybuilders with newcomers would provide guidance and support. I’d establish scholarships for women to compete while pursuing higher education, alleviating financial burdens.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
