I used to hide my feelings and love from the world. I was uncertain about who I was and where I fit. I ate my feelings and buried my needs. I have since learned how to love. I have allowed myself to feel. I’m better now than I ever was in my younger days. Being over 40 has given me space to grow up, to see that I had beauty all along. I learned to rely on myself. To trust in my own judgment, body and mind. Loving myself has opened the door for new opportunities, friendships, and peace.
How do you stay fabulous?Proactive consistency is my motto. Instead of waiting for life, I jump in head first. I dance in the mirror, I smile at my reflection. I remind myself that I am worth the time and effort to stay heathy. My body is treated with respect and love. I drink water, exercise, eat healthy foods, see my doctor and dentist, and rest when I need. I have lost 187 pounds. I want to keep it that way.
What would you do with the $40,000?Oh boy, I have some school loans that I’d LOVE to get out of my life. I’d also love to go on a trip with my family and then save some for a rainy day.
