As I have aged, I have acquired wisdom, perspective, patience, understanding, and appreciation for things that are beyond my control snd still see value and lessons to be learned continuously from every experience. How one views life varies tremendously with one’s age. In my younger days, receiving A’s in school, wearing “ in “ outfits , and being accepted into social circles were so important. Now I focus on being in love with my life and magnifying those aspects that give me pleasure .
How do you stay fabulous?I exercise and garden daily, eat fresh ripe fruit and do my own cooking. I wear sunscreen, use antioxidants and a moisturizer everyday. I regard mistakes and failures not ad such but as life lessons to be learned. I view the universe as an enormous and infinite roller coaster ride. My goal is to understand how to stay in the seat and not fall out. I have made amazing friendships and would not be where I am and who I am now without their love and support. What would you do with the $40,000?I would build a time machine and bring my friend, Robert, ( an amazing dentist) to visit george Washington. I would bring him floss, toothpaste, and toothbrushes andRobert would treat his dental problems. Then I would visit Emily Carr and Frederic Chopin and give them anti tuberculosis medications . Allowing these Two geniuses to live longer and create more beautiful literature and music respectively. I would beautify our local parks with purple black and hot pink tulips from Holland.
