I don’t have to put everyone before my own needs ALL the time. Kids are older so my schedule is free. I am a big crafter so with my sister we started a little side craft business . So instead of travel baseball and dance competitions, my sister and I will do a craft fair. It’s great I get to reconnect with my sister and I don’t have to worry about home. Kids and hubby are fine.
How do you stay fabulous?I walk every day, yoga twice a week. I journal everyday . Empty nest was hard first few months, went back to therapy to help find ME again. These activities all help me stay calm and focused on the good. Years of work, mommy duties, wife duties I got lost. Now is my time to shine !! I’m lucky and blessed for my family’s understanding and support.
What would you do with the $40,000?Oh WOW , that is a question !!! I would use the money to support my sister’s and mine side business. I would take art classes for fun!!. I would take more jewelry making classes to improve my craft. I would book a weekend yoga retreat and treat my sister, mother and daughter. Thank you for your consideration!
