If you had asked me this question five years ago I’d have said…nothing, I hate getting old. I mean it’s hard not to get stuck on a number when we live in a society that dismisses the value of aging. But life experiences have taught me that there is beauty in each stage of life. Life has taught me many lessons. I now feel wiser and stronger in my values and in my presence. All I want is to continue to embody the best version of myself and continue aging with gratitude and grace. .
How do you stay fabulous?I think fabulous, much like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. I stay fabulous by living a healthy lifestyle, and by that, I don’t mean just what is on my plate or what kind of workout I do at the gym. I approach life in a more holistic, spiritual way. I focus on my mental and emotional health. As cliche as it sounds, I believe that true beauty shines from the inside.
What would you do with the $40,000?First, I’d donate to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Save the Children Foundation, and also to the North Shore Animal League organization. Then, I’d take my daughters on a fabulous trip. “To travel is to live.” I’d take them on the trip of a lifetime.
