Being over 40 has truly transformed my perspective on life. With the wisdom gained from years of experiences, I’ve learned to let go of the small stuff that once seemed so significant. I find joy in the little moments and a deep appreciation for all I have—a supportive circle of family and friends, the beauty of nature, and the simple pleasures of each day. This stage of life has taught me to focus on gratitude, allowing me to embrace challenges with a sense of calm and resilience.

How do you stay fabulous?

Staying grounded in my faith and carving out time for myself has been essential in keeping my spirit youthful and fabulous. It provides me with a sense of peace and clarity that brightens my days. And then there are my grandchildren, who bring an unparalleled joy and energy into my life. Their laughter and curiosity remind me to embrace life with wonder, making even the simplest moments feel magical.

What would you do with the $40,000?

If I won $40,000, I would invest it directly into retirement, as saving for the future was often an afterthought during my years as a single mother. Back then, I was focused on making ends meet, and putting money aside felt like a luxury I couldn’t afford. Now, with a bit of financial relief, I see this as a chance to build a more secure future. Investing that money wisely would provide me with peace of mind and also ensure that I could enjoy retirement after working so hard all these years.
