Honestly, Im learning each day what it means to be a 40 year old woman. So far, my favorite things are being in a position to mentor younger women & show them love. I’m at the age where I take stock of the little things because I know how precious life is. Lastly, I love being in the “middle generation” of my family. I get to love on & pour into my kids and my parents & give them what they need.
How do you stay fabulous?I don’t sweat the small things. I take time for myself. I still dream & set goals that I’d like to accomplish & I always walk around with my head held high!
What would you do with the $40,000?$40,000 would be such a blessing! I would pay towards debt and put the remainder towards buying a home. Being a homeowner is a dream of mine. I work in low-income housing. I take pride in providing housing for a vulnerable population. I extend grace to my residents & make sure they feel pride in their homes. Being low-income doesn’t mean low quality. I want to be able to come home and have pride in being a homeowner. This could be as simple as making the home into what I want, not my landlord.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
