What I love most about being over 40 is the wisdom and clarity that come with age. I’ve embraced my purpose and enjoy sharing my experiences with younger women, helping them grow with confidence and courage. It’s fulfilling to reflect on my journey and use those lessons to inspire others. This stage of life is about empowerment, self-awareness, and lifting up the next generation.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by living a balanced and purposeful life. Regular workouts keep me strong, and self-care is a priority, as it helps me give my best to others. Even on tough days, I maintain a positive mindset, always finding the good in every situation. Mentoring young girls as a form of community service brings me fulfillment and purpose. I focus on my mental health, keep a peaceful home, and ensure I get enough sleep. This harmony of wellness and positivity keeps me feeling fabulous every day!
What would you do with the $40,000?With $40,000, I would complete the remaining tuition payments for my son, a freshman veterinary major at LSU. Additionally, I would expand my community service efforts, especially through my Courageously Endure brand. I’d enhance the Blazin’ Blazer project, which helps young girls build confidence and provides them with blazers to teach them how to dress for success. I’d also host career and empowerment summits to teach etiquette and career readiness, giving them hope for a bright future.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
