I was 40 a very long time ago. Now in my 70’s I appreciate life in a very different way. I was born with a bone disease that I kept quiet until my 50’s and now I feel like a spokesperson to those who do not want to speak.
How do you stay fabulous?I love the work that I do. At my age, you must love what you do. I am in the fashion industry having started the first ever size diverse fashion brand in Canada. I take really good care of myself. I love being with my friend and family. During the summer I go to my cottage, a place where I can breathe.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would donate to my charity for children as young adults with cancer called Alli’s Journey, a charity founded by my daughter Alli who passed away at the age of 26, in 2006. I might put something back into my fashion brand. What I definitely do is plant myself somewhere hot during the winter .
