When I look back at 56 years of life, I can see all the trials and heartbreaks, losses and struggles and understand that these things are necessary to make us into the people we are today. There is more patience, wisdom and kindness and a desire to pass it on to those who are willing to listen. There are seasons for everything and without winter there can be no spring. To gain this kind of understanding of life takes time. To become grateful for the struggle that made you stronger takes time.
How do you stay fabulous?As an interior designer of 20 years, I pursue beauty and peace in my surroundings and in my relationships. I spend most days outdoors in my garden or with horses. Besides being good exercise, these things connect me to nature and God, and allow me to meditate without the interference of outside voices. I surround myself with people who are positive and optimistic and share my values.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would help my daughter to rebuild after hurricane Milton and I would support my best friends new business.
