At 40, you really start learning who you are and what's really important. Your 20s are for experimenting to see what you like. Your 30s you start establishing who you are. But your 40s, you truly start enjoying the simple pleasures and are more at peace. It took me a while, but I am happy with the woman I've grown to be today and comfortable in my own skin.
How do you stay fabulous?Surrounding myself with like minded individuals. Making sure my tribe is full of wonderful women. And practicing more self care. Knowing that in order to be fabulous for everyone else, you have to stay fabulous yourself.
What would you do with the $40,000?Start investing in a more fabulous life for my son, my mom and I. Put a down payment on a house. Take those trips. Donating to charities and paying it forward. Creating more memories to remember. After surving emergency brain surgery and years of physical and emotional abuse, it really hit me that you only have one life to live. Life is short, carpe diem!
