I am an Indigenous American. Overcoming many challenges and hardships has led to me becoming resilient and has empowered me to thrive.

Now I have fully embraced my uniqueness and love myself more than ever. I am mindful and have the confidence to act on feelings and instincts rather than succumbing to societal pressures that do not honor who I am. I have learned the value of boundaries and have the strength to say "no" to people when necessary. Additionally, these things have enabled me to engage with my community on a higher level and establish deeper connections with my friends that I consider my chosen family.
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous is a balance of spirit, mind, and body. All three require consistent nurturing to stay in balance. I nurture my spirit by connecting with nature in all its bounty. I nurture my mind with healthy, meaningful, equitable relationships. I nurture my fabulous body, with routine meditate, exercise, and clean foods.
What would you do with the $40,000?Marginalized people who experience devastating challenges without proper support are near to my heart. Sexual and gender-based violence, are examples I personally experienced from childhood to adulthood. Being awarded this money will assist me in recovering from an abusive relationship that put me in a dire financial state. To properly support others, one needs to be able to have the strength to stand on their own feet first.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
