First, I can't even believe how fast time flies and that I am over 40! I enjoy being 47 and changing the thought process around 40 + individuals and how people think we need to look and act like. We are not old as society wants us to believe. I love telling people my age and seeing the shock in their faces. Being able to create once lifetime experiences for my family. Having freedom. Growing up before cell phones, streaming devices etc. Knowing how to create relationships with ppl.
How do you stay fabulous?I stay fabulous by not letting my age get to me. I still continue to do most things I want. Spartan & Mud races, monthly concerts even when I am one of the oldest there! I'm trying things I have always wanted to do (dance & gymnastics classes). I live by - you only live once! I also enjoy the gym, make-up, playing dress-up! We have to say to ourselves age is just a number and don't let that number deter you from something you want to do. Live life to the fullest!
What would you do with the $40,000?This is a tough question - 40K is a lot of money to most people. I would love to give back to myself (self care) but if I did it would be minimal. I am a saver so some of it would go to savings for something special in the future (vacation, home improvements etc). I would also put some away for my son's college education. In addition, I would put some to a good cause helping homeless animals (if not save some money for when I rescue an animal that needs emergency help).
