I love the special bond I have with my grown son, it is like building a new and even more special relationship. I get to work in a career that I love and is extremely rewarding. My career helping adults with developmental disabilities live independently in all aspects of their life has really taught me so much about the importance of inclusivity and the power of choice. I’m so thankful to be a part of something truly special and helping make our community one with more acceptance and love.

I stay fabulous by giving back to my community and Pilates helps haha. I am currently creating an adaptive clothing line so people with disabilities have the same choices as able bodied people. I want to change the fashion industry to be more inclusive and accessible for people with disabilities. I feel they should have the choice to express themselves with the same clothing options as everyone else. I want to create awareness, change, and functional clothing for people with disabilities.

I would pay off the debt that I accrued to pay for my dogs cancer treatment. Being a single mom has not been easy and working for a nonprofit is not very lucrative. I would like to put some of the money into the adaptive clothing line to get that passion going. I would pay for my son’s dental work. I would pay for my own dental work. I have to have a hysterectomy and this would help me be able to take extra time off to heal. It would be such a blessing to have money to do all of this.
