Experiences!! Being over 40 has taught me to never be afraid of being who i am, and to never again be shy over my deafness. I love educating people on the hard of hearing culture! I am an excellent lip reader, and very outgoing, which helps when navigating life with my hearing Husband and 3 boys! My deafness has also taught my boys to have patience and empathy for others. Tackling Breast Cancer has given me the strength i didn’t have before, to take chances in life.
How do you stay fabulous?Daily workouts with my Husband and boys, walks with my dogs. Since I’ve been 2 years Cancer free- my diet and eating habit has changed. I’ve always eaten healthy, however, i changed my portion size and food choices. I have my moment and don’t deny my sweets every now and then. I am also extra conscious of my skin and body! Working out helps to strengthen my bones as well as keep my mind healthy from the constant daily run arounds my Husband and i do for the boys and their sports!
