I love that being over 40 brings a sense of confidence and clarity. It’s an empowering phase where you really start to own who you are—letting go of the insecurities that might have held you back before. You develop a deeper understanding of what truly matters and embrace your strengths, experiences, and even your flaws in a way that you might not have been able to when you were younger.
How do you stay fabulous?Staying fabulous can be a blend of several elements, reflecting both inner and outer wellness. Here are some tips to keep in mind: Self-Care: Prioritize your physical and mental health through regular exercise, a nutritious diet, and enough sleep. Also, don't hesitate to pamper yourself occasionally, whether that means a spa day, a nice bath, or just quiet time with a good book. Confidence: Carry yourself with confidence. Believe in your abilities and worth, and let that confidence show in you
What would you do with the $40,000?If I received $40,000, I would invest it in creating a fully furnished transitional home for formerly incarcerated women. This home would serve as a safe and supportive environment where they can begin rebuilding their lives. The funding would be used to provide comfortable and functional furnishings, creating individual living spaces that promote privacy and dignity. Additionally, communal areas would be equipped to encourage a sense of community and support among the residents.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Fab Over 40, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
