I enjoy the clarity my 40s have afforded me. I'm comfortable in my own skin and confident in who I am. I know what I want and I go for it. I'm also proud my daughter sees that dreams are reachable. That it's okay to have a creative job--and that you can be successful doing so.
How do you stay fabulous?If you want to be fabulous, you must learn to advocate for yourself and your needs. I gained a great deal of weight while taking medication for a health issue. Unhappy with my health and my appearance I decided to do something. It took multiple tries to find a medication that worked well without the accompanying weight gain. I also met with a dietitian, which led me to make changes to my diet and gradually incorporate pilates.
What would you do with the $40,000?I would use the money for more screenplay/script writing classes/seminars. I would fly to LA and the UK to work with contacts I've made and are willing to be mentors. I'd work on shopping the pitch for my project and hopefully be able to tell a story on the screen not just on the page. The rest of the money would go toward an investment property for my daughter.
