My independence! The freedom to speak my mind freely. The ability to give of myself fully without any expectations. Loving all the experiences I have achieved up till this point in my life and knowing what an asset that experience is in making daily decisions. Being over 40 is just a liberating time in a woman’s life.
How do you stay fabulous?Gratitude Gratitude and more Gratitude. Aside from staying fit by exercising daily, I also meditate, eat a balanced diet and most importantly I surround myself with kind, good, smart, loving people. The Beach and the Gym are my go to place for mental health and clarity. I have lost many people in my life to cancer when they were too young so I have an appreciation for all that I have. Also, the occasional facial kinda helps! 😜 (humor is my absolute medicine).
What would you do with the $40,000?It’s hard to say one thing in particular. I know I wouldn’t keep any of it for myself that’s for certain. I would give to (and not necessarily in this order) St Jude hospital, buy a wig for my friend who is going to lose her hair to chemo, and the rest to my sons to help finish paying their college loans. At this point in my life I don’t need much so let’s spread the wealth.
